Really good at explaining, easy to understand and interactive.
I make sure students are ready for standardized tests by reviewing past exams. and emphasizing important ideas. I modify my classes to strengthen weak areas, promote critical thinking, and provide test-taking tips. Frequent evaluations track development, I also cultivate a thorough understanding of economic concepts and practical applications, students are better prepared to perform well on tests and acquire the analytical abilities necessary for academic achievement in economics classes.
I explore the ethical issues that emerge while making economic decisions and how they affect both society and the individual. I challenge students to consider the moral implications of economic theories and practices with critical thinking. Case studies and actual situations highlight how important moral conduct is in business dealings. In order to develop responsible decision-makers who take into account both economic efficiency and ethical considerations in their choices for a more sustainable and fair society, I hope to encourage a greater awareness of the ethical components of economics.
From theory to reality, the learning can close the application-knowledge gap. Case studies and simulations that replicate real-world situations will be used throughout the course. Applying economic principles to these scenarios can help you better comprehend them and improve the student's capacity to evaluate both personal and professional choices.
Externalities: The Hidden Costs of Business and Policy (As part of case studies) Policies and business models can have unintended consequences beyond their direct costs and benefits. These externalities can be positive or negative. Fast Fashion's Environmental Toll: Cheap production pollutes and exploits labor, while excessive consumption generates textile waste. Carbon Credits: A Market Fix with Challenges? Companies can offset emissions by buying credits, but this system can be susceptible to greenwashing and requires careful pricing to incentivize real change.
I can provide resources on career options in academia, government, and the private sector that leverage economic expertise. Additionally, I can guide you towards university programs aligned with your interests, be it a Master's in Economics or specialized programs in areas like econometrics or development economics.
The optimal training duration depends on your background and goals. Typically, in-depth economics training takes 10 months to 1.5 years. We can tailor a program with the appropriate number of sessions to ensure you grasp the core concepts and analytical tools for economic analysis
My courses integrate regional and local economic facts to improve their application in real-world scenarios. We'll examine local economic news as well as patterns in housing, employment, and industry changes. By applying economic ideas to problems that have a direct impact on your community, this promotes critical thinking.
Through case studies, interactive exercises, and open-ended questions, I promote student participation. We'll create a cooperative atmosphere where you may debate various viewpoints and dispel myths. My role is to assist your inquiries and create a safe environment for study within economic theory.
