I am originally from Scotland in the UK, but I now live in Chonburi, Thailand.

My hobbies include listening to music, watching movies and sports, exploring different foods and drinks, and traveling.

For the past 4 years, I have been a volunteer English teacher for the Dhammakaya International Society of the United Kingdom. During this time, I have assisted both the monastic community and lay staff in improving their four basic English skills.

Before the Covid pandemic, I worked as a full-time English teacher at Khon Kaen University in Thailand for 7 years.

I aim to assist my students in developing their conversational English, written English, and Business English skills. I accomplish this by focusing on the four basic skills of Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing.

I can guide my students in acquiring the necessary English skills for job interviews, workplace promotions, English exams, university entrance requirements, visa applications, conducting business in English, as well as general conversational English for work, study, and leisure.

As a teacher, I am outgoing and jovial, with a laid-back attitude. However, I do have four basic rules:

1. Always strive to communicate in English during lessons.
2. Do not be afraid to make mistakes.
3. Always take notes.
4. Most importantly, have fun while learning with me. Read less

I will help my students with conversational English, written English, and Business English by teaching the four basic skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. I can assist my students in developing the English skills necessary for job interviews, gaining promotions at work, preparing for English exams, preparing for university admissions, visa applications, conducting business processes in English, as well as providing general conversational English for work, study, and leisure.
